Agua Caliente Cultural Museum
  • A tribal museum representing the history and culture of the Agua Caliente band and other Cahuilla people through permanent and changing exhibits
  • Location: 219 South Palm Canyon Drive in the Village Green Heritage Center in Palm Springs
  • Open Labor Day weekend to Memorial Day weekend, Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m.; Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekend, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon to 5 p.m.

Jurupa Mountains Cultural Center
  • A not-for-profit Family-Oriented Learning Facility featuring fun programs in Archaeology, Geology, Paleontology, and Earth Sciences
  • Earth Science Museum features fossil displays, mining history, Native American artifacts, crystals, and petrified wood
  • Location: 7621 Granite Hill Drive in Riverside
  • Earth Science Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; grounds are closed without a guide

Malki Museum
  • Contains a broad collection of artifacts from Southern California Indian cultures, especially the Cahuilla Tribe
  • Ethnobotany exhibits relevant to the southern California culture region
  • Location: at 11-795 Fields Road on the Morongo Indian Reservation between Banning and Palm Springs
  • Open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sherman Indian Museum
  • Highlights aspects of Native American life at an Indian boarding school
  • Offers guided and self-guided tours, school history lectures, native plant garden, cultural presentations, hands-on workshops on Native American toys and games, plant uses, rock art, music/instruments, and basketry
